ZENTENTEN aka Jay Shaffer began doing experimental electronic music in the early 80s while in college. He was half of the band "Electro Disco Poofters" which had a couple hits in the Denver/ Boulder underground scene in the 80s. He spent two years in Fiji where he engineered and produced 13 albums of local music, After returning to the States, he went on to solo as ZENTENTEN and released several singles in the 90s and the EP "Ooohlala" in 1999. Jay also is a composer and sound designer for games. He is also known as the Mac Audio Guy and runs the macaudioguy.com Web site.
